Languages Day

Representatives of more than a hundred nationalities live in peace and harmony in our Republic. Over many years our destinies have come together; we have become one whole and preserved traditional values, mutual respect and tolerance. On 20 September Republican Medical Academy LLP held the festival “Our Common Day — Our Common Language” for the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan. Music, song and dance have always brought peoples together. The festival aimed to nurture citizens of a multinational state and create favourable conditions for the creative development of people of every nationality. Students performed lively Kazakh, Russian, English, Ukrainian, Georgian and Uzbek songs and dances. The festival left a wonderful impression, showing that we are one people and one country. Winners of the essay contest “Language Is the Foundation of Harmony” received certificates: 1st place — Akmyrza Dilnaz, second-year student of group 21DT; 2nd place — Mynzhasar Zhuldyz, first-year student of group 11DT, and Yergaliyeva Dilnaz, first-year student of group 12F.
