Preventing Behavioural Risk Factors

On 21 November 2019 specialists from City Polyclinic No. 3 and staff of the Korgau-Astana private foundation held seminars at Republican Medical Academy LLP on “Preventing Behavioural Risk Factors” and “A Great Day to Quit Smoking”.

The organisers aimed to foster young people’s responsible attitude to their health: staying healthy through sport and creative activities, giving up harmful habits and promoting a healthy lifestyle among their peers.

Students listened with great interest, readily answered the medical workers’ questions and shared their views on smoking.

Summing up, the centre’s specialist presented sobering statistics showing that more and more people die from smoking every year.
