Update on Measures Taken in Connection with the Coronavirus Pandemic

As of 13 March 2020, 134 students were studying full-time at Republican Medical Academy LLP, 73 of them from other cities. As part of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, all students and parents were informed that the college would switch to distance learning from 16 March 2020.

No children without parental care or orphans study at the college. According to the academic calendar, industrial training was scheduled for 15.06.2020–28.06.2020. Six antiseptic dispensers were installed on the floors of the college building. On 13 March a meeting of the teaching staff decided to provide material for independent remote study by uploading lectures and practical materials to Google Classroom and distributing assignments via Mail.ru.

Each student and parent was also given a login and password for the Platonus automated information system, where all participants can view the timetable and their grades. Students without internet access received all assignments on paper and on electronic media (USB drives, discs).
